ಅಮರ್ ಕೌಲ್ (ವಿನಯ್ ಪಾಟಕ್) ೩೭ ವರ್ಷದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿ. ಇವನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂಬಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸ್ತಿರ್ತಾನೆ. ಇವನು ಹಾಗೆ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ನೋವಿನ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಬಳಿ ಹೋದಾಗ, ತನಗೆ 'stomach cancer' ಇರುವುದಾಗಿ ಹಾಗು ತಾನು ಕೇವಲ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಬದುಕುವುದು ಅಂತ ತಿಳಿತಾನೆ. ಅಮರ್ ಈ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಳಿತಾನೆ ಅನ್ನೊದೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.

ಚಿತ್ರದ highights ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಬೆಡಗು ಬಿನ್ನಾಣ ಇಲ್ದಲೆ ಇರೊ ಒಂದು ಕಥೆ, ಅಷ್ಡೊಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಲ್ಲದ ತಾರಾಗಣವಾದರೂ ಕೆಲ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ನಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಲಾಶ್ ಖೆರ್ ಇಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮುದ್ರಣೆ. "ಅಲ್ವಿದಾ" ಅನ್ನೊ ಹಾಡಂತು ಮೈ ನಿಮಿರಿಸುತ್ತೆ.

Dasvidaniya is a HIndi movie produced by and starring Vinay Pathak. The films name is actually a pun, derived from the Russian phrase "Do Svidania" meaning Good Bye.

Amar Kaul is a 37 year old bachelor. He lives with his mother in Mumbai. When he visits a doctor for treating his stomachache, he learns that he has stomach cancer and that he has only 3 months to live. How Amar lives these 3 months is the story of the film.

The highlights of the film are the deglamorized story, a not so popular cast with some good acting performances and Kailash Kher's background score. The song "Alvida" is a moving one.

ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಾಯಕ "Travis Bickle" ೨೬ ವರ್ಷದ ಯುವಕ. ಈತ "Vietnam" ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ "New York"ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹೊತ್ತು taxi driver ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ತಿರ್ತಾನೆ. ತನ್ನ ಒಂಟಿ ಜೀವನ ಹಾಗು Manhattanಇನ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಕ, ಪಾತಕ ಜಗತ್ತು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀರೊ ಪ್ರಭಾವವೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.

ನಾನು 'Slumdog Millionaire' ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ. ಕೊನೆಗು ನೋಡೊ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಗ್ತು. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ವಿಕಾಸ್ ಸ್ವರೂಪ್ನವರ 'Q & A' ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಆದಾರಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ತಾರಾಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವ್ ಪಟೇಲ್, ಫ್ರೀಡಾ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಅನಿಲ್ ಕಪೂರ್, ಇರ್ಫಾನ್ ಖಾನ್, ಸೌರಭ್ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಮುಂತಾದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ಎ. ಆರ್. ರೆಹಮಾನ್ರವರದು.

ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಾನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರೋದು "Danny Boyle"ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ. ಇವರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮೆಚ್ಚಬೇಕಾದ್ದೆ. ಭಾರತವನ್ನ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಡು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಒಂತರ "Bollywood" touch ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದು ವ್ಯವಸ್ತಿತ "Bollywood" ಚಿತ್ರ ಅಲ್ಲ.

I had heard a lot about "Slumdog Millionaire". Finally I got to watch it. This movie is based on Vikas Swaroop's novel 'Q & A'. It stars Dev Patel, Frida Pinta, Anil Kapoor, Irfan Khan, Saurab Shukla and others. Background music score is by A. R. Rahman.

The story is of Jamal Malik, a slum boy. Jamal gets the chance to play 'Kaun Bangega Crorepati'. He wishes to connect with his friend Latika through the show. How can a slum boy play a game that is difficult for even educated people, is he able to find his friend, how does he answer the question is the theme of the film.

The movie has been directed by "Danny Boyle" a famous English director. His direction is brilliant. He has captured the minute details about India wonderfully. With a song and dance sequence, the film has a feel of a Bollywood movie. However, it is not the regular Bollywood movie.
